Job Description

You will have the opportunity to work with four other Senior and Principal Transmission Line Engineers on a wide variety of structural projects across energy, transmission and distribution and civil infrastructure sectors. You will have a passion for structural engineering and a desire to develop strong analytical, design and problem solving skills thorough working on a broad range of structures within a highly experienced team.

How you’ll make a difference 

  • Supporting the concept and detailed design of transmission lines using industry-standard tools such as PLS-CADD.
  • Assisting with structural assessments and designs of towers and poles using Excel, PLS-TOWER, and PLS-POLE.
  • Learning to design various foundation types, including grillage, direct-embed, and pile foundations.
  • Contributing to design reports and project documentation.
  • Participating in site visits and inspections to see your designs come to life.

Qualifications

  • Final year student or recent graduate with a Bachelors level (or above) qualification in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
