Avant Group 2025/26 Graduate Analyst Program (Grants Advisory)

What will you achieve when you step into the world where policy meets innovation?

Avant Group is Australia’s leading independent grants advisory firm. Our grants advisory team sits at the intersection of finance, policy, and economics, helping clients connect with government capital to drive innovation, growth, and national economic impact. We translate complex policy and regulatory frameworks into actionable strategies, delivering funding outcomes that strengthen competitiveness, accelerate transformative projects, and create tangible value.

About the Program

Graduate Analysts at Avant Group will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the culture and work of a full-time grants advisory Analyst for 12 weeks, contributing to a variety of client projects and making a meaningful impact through submissions, research, and funding strategies.

Throughout the program, Graduate Analysts will participate in an engaging orientation designed to introduce them to our culture and the responsibilities of being part of the firm. They will also take part in an intensive practice-specific training program with rotations through different business areas, building a strong foundation in financial and economic modelling, policy, and industry research. Graduate Analysts will also aid in the preparation of funding submissions, while actively contributing to a diverse range of client projects.

Graduate Analysts will continue to receive on-the-job guidance and mentorship throughout the program, working closely with senior grants advisors on high-impact initiatives. The program also offers numerous opportunities to exchange ideas and network with peers, mentors, and senior advisors through workshops, team-building sessions, and other organised events.

Through this program, high-performing participants will be identified and considered for advancement into permanent Analyst positions.
