An exciting opportunity for a quantitative graduate to join a leading asset manager.

Coronation, in Claremont, Cape town is looking for a Performance Analyst intern to support the Investment Risk and Performance team in providing the business with accurate performance and risk, and attribution calculations. 

What You Will Do

• Full involvement in the performance cycle.
• Responsible for daily and monthly performance procedures.
• Ad hoc performance queries.
• Ex-post-performance and risk analysis.
• Compiling and evaluating performance data for business pitches.
• Responsible for the performance data sign off process.
• Maintenance of performance databases.
• Maintenance of performance systems. 

Required Skills and Abilities

This is a graduate opportunity.

• Financial mathematics or statistical orientation.
• BBusSci/ BComm (Actuarial, Quantitative Management)
• BSc (Math's, Statistics)  

Most Important Attribute:  

Analytical and incredible attention to detail. 

System Knowledge:

• Good systems knowledge and skills required.
• Excel essential.
• StatPro (Performance & Attribution, Interactive) an advantage.
• Morningstar Direct, INet an advantage.
• SQL knowledge an advantage.
