Glengarry Primary School is a rural school of approximately 160 students, located only a short drive from Traralgon in the Latrobe Valley, Gippsland, Victoria. Our school was established in 1888 and is situated in the middle of the community orientated township of Glengarry. We are proud to be an integral part of the Glengarry and district community with our student population drawn primarily from the township of Glengarry and its surrounding towns.

We have 7 classrooms and run 4 seperate specialist classes which includes Physical Education, Art, STEM and Kitchen Garden. We employ 19 staff members which include a Principal, 8 classroom teachers, 2 specialist teachers, 5 Education Support staff, a wellbeing officer, and 2 administration staff / business manager.
We have strong Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) both as a Junior (P-2) and Senior (3-6) school, along with a whole school PLC which focuses on whole school priorities and building teacher capacity. We are proud to have a deep focus on building teachers' knowledge and skills to support the learning of our students.
SC1 Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including the capacity to incorporate the teaching of literacy and numeracy skills. Demonstrated capacity to respond to student learning needs.
