Role Purpose
To develop strategic business partnerships both within a portfolio of clients and targeting of clients, by coordinating EY resources to develop, manage and implement projects. The role will be required to make technical contributions on engagements and provide advice to clients to ensure they can attract and retain the best talent, fuelling future growth. 

Position Description

  • Provide regular feedback to appropriate members of the EY team on the status of and time to complete assigned work.
  • Contribute to designing and implementing client projects, supporting our EY team to deliver people transformation plans which support our client’s business and HR strategy.
  • Assist in design and delivery of organisational change projects, which includes strategy, communication and methodology to support a client’s change program.

Problem Solving

  • Contribute both individually and as a member of a team in the resolution of complex issues.
  • Perform analysis of issues or problems, interpreting results and providing recommendations in 
    the decision-making process.

Quality and Risk management

  • Ensure appropriate quality and risk management processes are followed.
  • Ensure the professional and ethical image of the firm is maintained by providing courteous and timely service to clients and staff.
  • To be and remain independent and apply appropriate quality and risk management processes.

Develop Self and Others

  • Achieve expected competency levels contained within the performance review process and participate in EY professional development initiatives as required.
  • Assist in the development of self and colleagues by providing timely, open and honest constructive feedback.
  • Keep up to date with relevant research, trends and policy.

Eligibility
If you're an international student keen to join EY as an intern, a graduate or attend the Career Compass Programme, we require that you meet the following eligibility criteria.

  • You must currently reside in New Zealand.
  • You must be enrolled in a level 7-degree qualification or higher. These studies must be completed on site at a New Zealand university.
  • You must have three years on your Post Study Work visa at the time of joining EY
  • In order to obtain a post graduate visa, you must have completed at least 30 weeks of fulltime study at a level 7 degree qualification at a New Zealand university.
  • EY will not be able to provide an offer of employment if you studied a non-degree level 4, 5, 6 qualification or a non-degree level 7 [certificate or diploma].
