Coordinator, TM Uptake Management

Overview 

You’ll play a key role in making sure our ships sail full, efficient, and on schedule balancing customer demands, operational constraints, and commercial priorities. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Managing vessel space – ensuring ships are well-utilised across different trade routes  

  • Planning cargo allocation – tactical decision making based on booking development.  

  • Monitoring bookings – tracking how quickly space is filling up and adjusting plans when needed  

  • Making real-time decisions – prioritising cargo when space is limited or disruptions occur  

  • Working with global teams – coordinating with planners, commercial teams, and customer service across regions  

  • Handling operational challenges – e.g. delays, transshipment connections, or special cargo requirements  

  • Improving performance – supporting KPIs such as vessel utilisation, booking response time, and on-time loading  

 

Who we’re looking for:

We welcome candidates with a background or interest in maritime, logistics, or supply chain. 

You don’t need full-time experience, but it helps if you: 

  • Have studied maritime, logistics, transportation, or a related field  

  • Are comfortable working with data and making decisions  

  • Enjoy solving problems in a fast-paced, real-world environment  

 

What will help you succeed:

  • Strong analytical thinking and keen to work with numbers and patterns.  

  • Good communication skills as you’ll be working with different teams globally.  

  • Ability to prioritise and make decisions under pressure.  

  • proactive mindset to spot issues before they escalate.  

  • Willingness to learn and take ownership.  

 

Highly advantageous if you:  

  • are familiar with Excel or data tools  

  • have had internships or exposure to shipping/logistics
