13-Week Full-Time Paid Summer Internship at Hilton Foods - Starting 24th of November.

Project: Convenience Solutions – Packaging & Product Development

Overview: As an intern, you will focus on developing convenient, value-for-money, and great tasting meal solutions that cater to the growing consumer demand for quick and easy midweek dinners . You will be involved in identifying and testing the most suitable product formats, conducting product trials, validating and scaling up successful concepts, and sourcing the necessary raw materials. Throughout the project, there will be regular collaboration with cross-functional teams and opportunities to present progress and recommendations directly to the customer.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Trial Requests: Assist with any trial requests and trial reporting documentation.
2. Cross functional coordination of testing.
3. Product testing: Finished product testing, cooking instructions, shelf life validation and operational capabilities.
4. Participate in Team Meetings: Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Goal: By the end of the project, you would have developed a range that meet consumer expectations for quick, affordable, and delicious weeknight dinners.

• Currently studying or recently graduated from a degree in Food Science
• Have a passion for food.
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Outstanding time management skills: Able to balance working both independently and as part of a team
• A positive and passionate attitude with a strong focus on customer service
• Attention to detail that ensures quality in everything you do
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to change
• Willingness to travel within the state if required as part of onboarding ( 1 week only )

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• Ambition: You’re eager to learn, grow, and contribute to the team beyond expectations
• Strong project management skills: Able to work to timelines and meet goals
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
