13-Week Full-Time Paid Summer Internship at Hilton Foods - Starting 24th of November.

Project: Document Control and Alignment of Quality Management Systems

Overview: This project aims to review, align, and streamline all documentation within the Quality Management System (QMS), focusing specifically on Processing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), and Visual Work Aids (JIBs). The objective is to ensure consistency, clarity, and compliance across all operational documentation, supporting improved training outcomes, audit readiness, and operational efficiency.

This initiative offers hands-on experience in quality systems and document management. You will assess existing documentation for alignment, identify gaps or outdated content, and support the development of a more standardised and user-friendly document suite.

The project will involve working closely with key stakeholders across Quality and Operations to verify current practices and ensure documentation accurately reflects day-to-day processes. This is a valuable opportunity to contribute to meaningful quality improvements while gaining exposure to technical writing, compliance standards, and continuous improvement practices within a production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Creating User Friendly Documents: Review and assess existing Quality Management System (QMS) documentation for alignment, accuracy and relevance.
2. Identify gaps, outdated content and inconsistencies: within current documentation.
3. Support: the development and standardisation of SOPs, Wis, and JIBs to ensure clarity and user friendliness.
4. Collaborate: Collaborate with Quality and Operations teams.
5. Participate in Meetings: Join Quality meetings to understand how decisions are made.

Goal: By the end of the project, you’ll review, standardise, and streamline all operational documentation within the Quality Management System to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance, thereby improving training effectiveness, audit readiness, and overall operational efficiency.

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (completed or in progress) 
• Outstanding time management skills: Able to balance working both independently and as part of a team

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to change
• Willingness to travel within the state if required as part of onboarding ( 1 week only )
