About the Student Program

This one-year, full time graduate program provides recent graduates with a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in counter fraud, forensic analysis, and intelligence support.

The program is designed to build strong analytical and forensic capabilities, support the development and uplift of governance coordination, and provide meaningful exposure to industry-led fraud prevention and disruption initiatives.

What You'll Do

As a Graduate Counter Fraud Forensic Analyst, you will support the ICA's Counter Fraud team in strengthening the insurance industries capacity to detect, disrupt, and prevent organised insurance fraud. Your work will develop the resilience of the insurance industry, through systemic control uplift, benefiting consumers, insurers, and the integrity of the insurance system.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing operational and intelligence support to counter fraud initiatives across the insurance industry
  • Assisting with the preparation of intelligence briefings, meeting materials, and taskforce documentation
  • Supporting forensic analysis activities, including document review and intelligence research
  • Conducting desktop research into emerging fraud trends, typologies, and risk indicators
  • Assisting with governance and project coordination, including maintaining registers, templates, and operating procedures
  • Supporting collaboration with insurers, law enforcement, and other stakeholders through coordinated meetings and information sharing
