What's in it for you?

You'll work on diverse projects, such as threat hunting and penetration testing, cyber automation, geopolitical and intelligence research and analysis, supply chain security, influencing human behavior, implementing programs that enhance privacy and the security of critical infrastructure, and participating in forensic investigations.

You'll collaborate with a diverse group of experts, building the knowledge and skills needed to drive meaningful change in security practices and critical infrastructure protection.

We offer permanent, full-time positions based in our Melbourne (Docklands) office.

What we look for in a graduate

We welcome graduates from degrees including โ€“ but not limited to โ€“ Cyber Security, Criminology, Digital Forensics, Machine Learning, Behavioral Economics, Intelligence, Political Science, Law, Risk Management, Data Analysis, Psychology, Communications and Compliance.

If you have a strong interest in digital security, problem-solving and protecting vital infrastructure, we want to hear from you.

Where Security Group can take you

Once complete, you'll transition into an Associate role within the Security Group, where you'll continue to grow and develop as part of an agile, innovative team. Your experience in the program will set you up to contribute to securing Australia's digital future and enable you to work on cutting-edge security initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

To be eligible for our 2027 cohort you must meet the below eligibility criteria at the time of application:

  • You are a Citizen of Australia / New Zealand, or an Australian permanent resident; and
  • You are in your final year of university and due to complete your degree before the program commences, or; you have completed your final subject in the last 24 months; and
  • You are available to commence full time work from February 2027.
