Graduate Fund Operations

An exciting graduate level opportunity has become available in one of our Sydney based Affiliates.  

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Investment Team with regular client reporting, including understanding our contractual reporting obligations and ensuring they are met
  • Coordinating responses to ad hoc client requests, which may include requests for information around ESG, investment performance, and operational processes – this will involve seeking input from other team members or stakeholders as required
  • Setup and maintenance of a reporting system 
  • Managing communications with clients and related parties
  • Identifying improvements to our current reporting and operational processes and implementing them
  • Providing back-up on other functions including fund administration, implementation of our approach to ESG, compliance, and monitoring of processes around new clients and investments

The Candidate

We are looking for a dedicated, professional and proactive individual that is a fast learner, improvement driven and keen to provide our clients with a first-class experience.

The successful candidate should have the following attributes:

  • Completed or in the final stages of a university degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce or other relevant discipline or have equivalent industry experience
  • Previous experience in investor relations in the funds management industry will be highly regarded
  • A strong understanding of the funds management industry
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to relate to people at all levels
  • Strong analytical skills
  • The ability to work autonomously
  • Strong work ethic with energy and commitment for working in a dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint). Experience with other software packages would also be beneficial.
