About the role

Reporting into the Head of Product, this role would suit a curious and proactive individual with a background in Finance and one to two years of industry experience either in Investment Product, Operations or Compliance. 

Pinnacles’ purpose is to enable better lives through investment excellence, as part of the product team the successful candidate will contribute to this purpose by delivering high quality investment products globally.  The role can be based in either Sydney or Brisbane.

What you'll do

  • Assist with the co-ordination and development of investment funds from initial stages to launch (including product specifications and project management with various internal and external stakeholders); 
  • Assist with the co-ordination of fund governance / disclosure documents and associated forms; 
  • Assist with the co-ordination of disclosure document verification; 
  • Regulatory filings; 
  • Management and oversight of certain fund obligations (e.g. reporting); 
  • Preparation of investor correspondence; 
  • Preparation of board papers to support establishment or updates to funds; and 
  • Assist with the co-ordinate and manage the full product life cycle. 

Qualifications

  • A preference for at least 1-2 years’ experience in investment management or financial services, some of which is in product development or operations, coupled with relevant tertiary qualifications; 
  • We are also open to final year students who are looking to work on a 4 day per week part time basis or a graduate looking to commence their career in investment management;  
  • Knowledge and interest of product development and management processes within the funds management industry; 
  • Working knowledge of investment markets; 
  • Sound organisational and communication skills; 
  • Exceptional attention to detail; 
  • Ability to effectively maintain productive relationships with colleagues; 
  • Resilience, sincerity and tenacity.
