TikTok Networking is responsible for designing, building, and operating the global, intelligent network infrastructure to meet the requirements of high availability, scalability, and high-performance. Responsibilities:

• Design, build, operate and optimize TikTok's global network, including backbone, data center, public cloud and Edge/CDN.
• Work with cross-functional teams including but not limited to compute, storage, database, recommendation system, drive the innovation and evolution of TikTok network.
• Work with external vendors and ISPs for device and carrier selection, perform testing and verification.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Individuals who are completing or have recently completed a Bachelor’s in Computer Science or a related technical field involving software/system engineering, or equivalent working experience,
• Knowledge of computer networking, Internet service infrastructure, IP routing and DNS
• Self-motivated, good communication and written skills
• The English Language is required to communicate with a global team for 7x24 support

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of network protocols including IPv4/v6 TCP/IP, DHCP, BGP, OSPF/IS-IS
• Knowledge and hands-on experience of public cloud services, such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Ali Cloud, OCI, etc 
• Hands-on experience of network devices, such as Cisco, Arista, Juniper, H3C, Huawei and other mainstream vendors.
• Programming/scripting in Bash, Python or other languages
