Turks are looking for a 0 - 2 year PAE Lawyer to join our high performing and successful Insurance team in Sydney.

Responsibilities

You will take responsibility and ownership over a range of tasks, including but not limited to:
• working on a diverse range of complex litigation and advice matters across both life insurance and general insurance.
• develop skills in insurance law and litigation;
• have regular involvement and direct contact with clients; and
• appear in various courts and tribunals including Magistrates, County and Supreme courts.

• conducting legal research and relaying information to lawyers;
• drafting of advice for review;
• attending court as required;
• drafting of pleadings and court documents;
• assisting with witness statements; and
• briefing experts as required.  

Requirements

Although this is an entry level position and pre-admission candidates will be considered, applicants who hold a current practising certificate or have completed a their Practical Legal Training Course will be highly regarded.
  
In addition, you will:

• have completed your LLB or JD with strong academic achievements;
• be an energetic, driven and focused team player;
• demonstrate excellent communication skills;
• exhibit a professional approach, taking ownership over set tasks and responsibilities; and
• integrate your technical aptitude, demonstrating excellent attention to detail
