The Graduate Spatial Science – Engineering Surveyor Program provides graduates with the opportunity to build strong technical capability while contributing to essential road and transport projects across Western Australia.
The Graduate Spatial Science – Engineering Surveyor Program is a 3 year structured rotational program designed to provide hands on learning experiences across a range of specialist spatial and surveying disciplines.
Graduates rotate through different business areas based on their strengths, skills and interests, aligned with organisational needs. The program includes exposure to both technical and project based work, supporting the development of well rounded surveying professionals.
On successful completion of the program, graduates are offered permanent ongoing employment with Main Roads.
Throughout the program, graduates work closely with the Asset and Geospatial Information team, which coordinates corporate road and asset data across the organisation.
The team is responsible for the procurement, storage and provision of corporate road asset and network information, as well as essential transport models. Specialist technical advice is provided across:

Graduates gain exposure to large scale infrastructure projects and technical specialist areas and often see the impact of their work during everyday travel across Western Australia.
