Your New Role

The Technology (Cyber) Graduate program has been designed for you to get straight into a defined role and team for an extended period, but still not lose the perks of a grad program, including the connection to a larger cohort and direct access to our leadership team.

You'll spend 12 months in a team, building a well-rounded understanding of how that technology function works. You'll be surrounded by leaders who are invested in your development and focused on providing tailored experiences to match your determination and drive to explore their area of expertise.

What will the Technology (Cyber) Graduate Program offer you?

• Experienced cybersecurity professionals are, and will remain, in high demand, which is why we’ve made cybersecurity a strategic priority for Westpac.
• At the core of our cybersecurity function we build, test, maintain and improve the tools and frameworks to enable and accelerate the security of our customers’ data and the services we supply them.
• You will gain exposure to the full lifecycle of our cybersecurity processes, giving you the necessary experience to build your skillset in cybersecurity.

What you’ll need to succeed:

We are building a team with a specific skillset and capability with game-changing attitudes. Whether your education to date is in cyber security or you’ve only just discovered your love for all things cybersecurity, the specialist Cybersecurity program will make a great home for you!

Choose the Technology (Cyber) Graduate Program if:

• You’re a passionate individual with a STEM degree and background.
• You’re clear on your future role in Cyber.
• You're excited to be developing an expertise in cybersecurity.

You will also need:

• To be in your final year of study of a university degree, or
• You can have completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree, but it must be no more than three years ago.
• You also need to be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen or an Australian Permanent Resident when you apply.
