Technology Analyst Roles We’re Recruiting! 

 

Graduate Quality Engineer 
 

As a Quality Engineer at Accenture, you’ll champion and ensure the utilization of best QE technologies and practices, setting processes and expectations with Product Owners and Engineers that prioritize quality and automation. 

 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Test Planning and Execution: Develop detailed test plans and cases, execute tests (including regression testing), and ensure functionality validation while maintaining comprehensive test documentation. 

  • Defect Management and Quality Improvement: Identify, document, and manage defects using tools like Azure DevOps, drive resolutions, conduct tool analysis, and implement processes to enhance quality. 

  • Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with client teams for integration and user acceptance testing, participate in code reviews, and define quality gates. 

  • Automation and Support: Identify opportunities for test automation, design and implement automation frameworks, and provide support to associates. 

 

 

Graduate Software Developer 
 

Are you a recent graduate with a passion for technology and a curiosity for how large-scale systems work? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Mainframe Software Developer at Analyst level. This is a fantastic opportunity to kickstart your career in enterprise software development, working alongside experienced professionals in a supportive and collaborative environment. 

 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Learn to design, develop, and maintain COBOL-based applications in a z/OS mainframe environment. 

  • Assist in writing and testing SQL queries for DB2 databases. 

  • Participate in code reviews, debugging, and documentation activities. 

  • Collaborate with testers, analysts, and senior developers to deliver high-quality solutions. 

  • Receive training and mentorship in mainframe technologies, Agile practices, and DevOps tools. 

 

 

Graduate System Designer 


Are you a recent graduate with a passion for technology, systems thinking, and Agile delivery? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a System Designer at Analyst level. This is a fantastic opportunity to launch your career in enterprise software delivery, working alongside experienced professionals in a supportive and collaborative environment. 

 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Learn to break down business features into well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria. 

  • Assist in backlog refinement sessions and Agile ceremonies. 

  • Support the creation of technical documentation including system flows and data mappings. 

  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, developers, and testers. 

  • Gain hands-on experience with Agile tools like Jira or Azure DevOps (ADO). 

  • Receive mentorship and training in SAFe, SCRUM, and system design practices. 

 

Additional Requirements: 
 

Security Clearance Requirement: Given the secure nature of this role, we are seeking candidates who are Australian Citizens with an active security clearance or are eligible for obtaining security clearance. 

This requirement ensures that all team members are cleared to handle sensitive information and contribute to maintaining the highest standards of security in our operations. 

 

On-call and Shift Expectations: This position is primarily focused on managed services, meaning you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our clients' IT systems (Applications and Infrastructure). Flexibility and adaptability are key, as you may be required to work in shifts to provide continuous support. Additionally, you may need to be on call to address incidents promptly and perform after-hours deployment activities as needed. Your ability to effectively manage these responsibilities will be crucial to ensuring the seamless operation of our services and client satisfaction. 

 

Other Items: 

  • Must not have been terminated from a Gov agency or received poor performance feedback. 

  • Must have lived in Australia for the last 2.5 years of the past 5 years. 

  • Must be up to date with tax requirements. 

  • Must be committed to working on site in the client office 3 days a week.
