The Programme 

This position's main responsibility is to support the daily ACH Operations Team Operations.  
 
The role involves supporting various input / verification / Monitoring / reporting / payment processing functions as part of ACH Operations.

What You Will Do 

• Processing of ACH transactions on payment platforms, onboarding set up of a client in ACH applications/Risk Database, credit risk monitoring of ACH files, Return Item Monitoring, extracting and reporting at timely intervals. 
• Understand complex product and rules / structures to effect changes impacting delivery of ACH products and services. 
• Ensures that Requests for processing are properly authenticated and authorized by appropriate parties in compliance with risk and control guidelines. 
• Respond to queries received via mailbox and resolve any client issue as a priority. 
• Escalate any exceptions, unwarranted activities, spike in volume, etc. immediately to management. 
• Ensure that all relevant deadlines and stipulated controls are met. 
• Provide MIS reports with accuracy and completeness of data. 
• Comply with the Standard Operation Procedures, abide by the Code of Conduct and ensure strict adherence to the Company’s policies. 
• Process any required back-up tasks relating to production, identifying ways to improve current work practices. 
• To work with minimum supervision and act on own initiative to identify tasks to be undertaken. 
• To participate in the rotation of functions within the group ensuring no degradation to workflows.
• Will be supporting the US Payments during the US Cut off hours, hence will be working in a complete US shift. 

Required Skills and Abilities 

• Fresh Graduates with good academic record. 
• Graduate with Minimum 0-2 years of experience in Banks/ Financial Institutions. 
• Experience and a working knowledge of various aspects of International Payment Processing Operations. 1 year of experience in a back-office operations of a reputed foreign bank or its processing arm/private sector bank/public sector bank as a supervisor would be beneficial. 
• Working Knowledge of ACH & international payment conventions & practices is preferable. 
• Good Interpersonal skills to be able to communicate internally or externally and at all levels and should be a team player. 
• Excellent written & oral communication skills in English. 
• A proactive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow through.
• Escalate issues as appropriate. 
• Strong PC and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
