2026 KPMG Graduate Program – Tax (Rolling Intake)

Why choose Tax as a graduate?

Clear, concise and ethical tax advice means better business decisions. As a tax graduate, you can be a true partner to the businesses you advise while experiencing a variety of challenges and industries. Whether you're interested in cross-border trade, dispute resolutions, or international investments in the Australian market, you'll learn from experts across many fields in multidisciplinary teams to help clients tackle complex challenges that go beyond tax.

Location of this job: nominate your KPMG office location during the application process.

About rolling intake: We run two rounds of recruitment: main intake (now closed) and rolling intake. We aim to fill as many of our roles as possible through the main intake but, of course, things change and new roles come up. Applying to the rolling intake means your application will be reviewed as a suitable role comes up (and it does happen!).

What your day as a KPMG graduate could look like

You’ll be part of a team of both experienced and early-career professionals who work on solving problems. The client (they could be an international company, a local charity, a small business) brings us a challenge and we create a team and a plan to help solve it.

The work itself is varied depending on your team and the client, so expect to build knowledge of several industries and businesses. You might be researching and gathering information on international tax law, liaising with clients to understand decisions or challenges they face, assessing a client’s current processes against best practice, working with your team to write a report, or ensuring tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions for international transactions.

Many graduates in Tax join the rotation program, experiencing multiple Tax teams during their graduate program.

About the graduate program

  • For students in their final year of study in 2025 or recently graduated and not yet in professional work

  • 18-month rotation pathway, allowing 6 months with each of your 3 teams, with targeted coaching, support and development as you grow your new career.

  • Real work from the start so you can make an impact and learn straightaway

  • Start work in February 2026 (typically, some teams have a slightly different schedule) with a full time and ongoing graduate role.
