Your New Role and Responsibilities

An average week for a Graduate Finance Analyst could incorporate a wide range of activities including:

  • Supporting the provision of accurate, timely, and relevant financial information and accounting guidance to support key stakeholders of the organisation;
  • Responsible for reconciliations, accruals and other general accounting activities including revenue and less complex tax related accounting across the Leidos Australia group;
  • Cash receipting, month end processes, liaising with the project teams, managing the corporate card accrual process and technical accounting research;
  • Supporting specific account reconciliations, journal entry preparation and special projects, as needed;
  • Support compilation and review of budgets using actual performance, previous budget figures, estimated revenue, expense reports, and other data sources.
  • Providing administration and reporting of overhead budgets, charge codes and cost allocation;
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a highly talented team, focusing on process improvement and promoting work/life balance.

Graduates will be supported to develop their skills and knowledge specific to this role, to ensure they are able to contribute and reach their highest potential. What You’ll Bring to Make An Impact

This role is ideal for someone who is completing or has recently completed a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in a related discipline:

  • Bachelor of Finance
  • Bachelor of Business
  • Bachelor of Commerce
  • Bachelor of Economics

This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and be willing to obtain and hold a Baseline or greater security clearance.
