We’re looking for enthusiastic and curious individuals, including recent graduates, career changers, and those with a keen interest in banking, to join our Business Banker Pathway Program. We’re seeking individuals who are commercially and digitally skilled, and passionate about using their financial expertise to understand and support our customers' needs, with a goal of one day managing you’re their own portfolio of customers within Business Metro & Specialised.

The work you’ll do in Business Banking
Develop and build strong customer relationships
Perform credit analysis, financial modelling and interpretation of customers financial information
Assist in the creation and preparation of lending submissions including obtaining and collating information from customers
Construct facility renewals and business lending proposals with rationale for approval
Proactively identify and fulfil sales opportunities
Develop an understanding of bank products to match our customer needs
Assist in the acquisition and onboarding of new customers
Undertake customer portfolio management activities
During this program, you will:
Engage in hands-on learning experiences across a structured 6-month program that will shape your understanding of business banking.
Collaborate with seasoned banking professionals who will mentor and guide you.
Network with industry leaders and build connections that will support your career growth.
Contribute directly to NAB's mission of supporting Australian businesses
Upon program completion, you will be well-equipped to transition into a permanent customer facing role in business banking – typically a Relationship Associate, Account Manager or Business Banker.
What you’ll bring:

Financial acumen
Prior working experience in a service environment would be advantageous

Eligibility
To be eligible to apply, you must:
Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or be an Australian Permanent Resident at the time of applying
Have completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree or be due to complete it by the commencement of the program
Must be mobile and able to commute to a NAB nominated metropolitan location for your first permanent role post program.
Commit and be available to commence full time employment on 28th July 2025.
