YAPA

‘Your community in APA’ is a Graduate-conceived and grad-led initiative, offering new to the workforce, new to the industry and new to APA members of the APA community, professional development via lunch and learn workshops, networking and social activities. In addition to your rotation manager and team buddy, you’ll be introduced to your local YAPA buddy upon commencement to help you settle in and get better acquainted with all things APA, including where you can get the best coffee!

 

 

Percipio - the netflix of learning!

As a graduate, you’ll have both a curated learning journey tailored to your program, as well as on-demand access to 150,000 learning assets in Percipio, our Digital Learning Library, - a centralised source of digital resources, from videos, blogs and podcasts, to online courses, book summaries, digital and audio books and articles. These resources are available on-demand through any device, allowing you to continue your own self-directed professional development in between your shared face-to-face and virtual development program sessions. You can also earn digital badges and be recognised for the learning you’ve undertaken.

 

Health and Wellbeing

Employees benefit from a variety of complementary services, geared to enhance mental and physical wellbeing. These include simple perks, such as an optional flu shot for all employees. To extensive initiatives, like our support program for employees working away from home.

Inclusive parental leave policy

We know that being a family friendly and inclusive workplace will have a positive impact for our people, for their families and for our business.

  • 18 weeks of fully paid Parental Leave (36 weeks at half pay), with no distinction between primary and secondary carer status, meaning all eligible APA employees have equal access
  • Our leave is available to all types of family arrangements, including adoption, surrogacy and long-term foster care arrangements
  • Superannuation will be paid on all Parental Leave (up to 52 weeks)
  • Two weeks paid leave for anyone who suffers a pregnancy loss whether it happens directly to them, their partner of their surrogate mother
  • Flexibility in how and when Parental Leave is taken over a 2-year period
  • 6 months Parental Leave qualifying period
