Our department is a trusted, independent and impartial public body. Our auditors communicate and work with SA Government agencies and local government entities. We provide audit opinions, through our reporting to SA Parliament, on the finances and activities of the South Australian public sector.

Our role is to help ensure SA government accountability to the important work our public service agencies perform, whilst promoting confidence and assurance int he public sector, by all South Australians.
