New Professional Program

Throughout our growth, our commitment to innovation has not wavered and is fostered throughout our New Professionals Program (NPP). Our two-year development program gives participants the right tools and skills to innovate and challenge the way we do things and help us find a better way.

We provide exceptional opportunities for graduates to learn, develop, contribute, and take their career in their chosen direction. Upon program completion, participants remain involved in the program in a leadership capacity, supporting and mentoring new graduates commencing in the program.

We currently have 43 members in our NPP cohort with 32 of those being graduate engineers or cadet designers.

What to Expect from the NPP

Program Activities

  • Rotation Program -In the first two years graduates will spend at least 18 months learning the foundations of their discipline, working across a variety of commodities and projects at all stages of the project life cycle (study, FEED, execution). They will undertake site-based opportunities and non-core rotations through departments such as Procurement, Projects Controls and Business Development.
  • Community Engagement / Outreach – Graduates in each of our offices are required to identify a local charity or cause to support each year. We have proudly supported initiatives such as Dig-In, The Sudsy Challenge and Salvos Community Lunch to name a few.
  • Professional Development – We host an annual graduate workshop, spanning two days that bring together all graduates across the APAC region. The sessions are focused on building future skills and expanding their technical knowledge. This workshop is hosted in addition to regular professional development activities such as lunch and learns, webinars and industry events.
  • Social Activities – There are many social activities for the new professionals to be involved in, including lunches, sponsored sporting events, virtual events and much more.
