Application Process

Our recruitment process helps us understand whether Deloitte is the right fit for you, and whether you’re the right fit for us. As you progress through the process, you’ll receive access to the Candidate Zone which will give you preparation, guidance and insight for each step.

When you apply for a role at Deloitte, you’ll move through the following four stages:

  1. Application 

    Before you apply, make sure you take some time to research the wide variety of teams, disciplines and opportunities open. We recommend applying for no more than two roles. Before you hit apply, make sure you have your CV, academic transcript (an unofficial version is fine) and qualification details ready.

  2. Immersive online assessment

    Our online assessment is an immersive, client-focused set of virtual activities designed to genuinely recognise your strengths and help you understand what it's like to work with us. You’ll have access to our Candidate Zone to help you practise and prepare, and once complete, you’ll receive a personalised feedback report about your strengths and abilities.

  3. Short digital interview or job silator

    If the role you applied for requires a Digital Interview, we will send you a link to our video platform to answer three quick questions about your achievements and interests. This is your opportunity to show us who you are and how you might fit within the team.

    Some roles may instead include a Job Simulator. This gives you a preview of the area you’ve applied for through a mix of scenario-based questions and video responses, all completed online at a time that suits you. It’s your chance to experience the role and showcase your skills and preferences.

    Whether you need to complete a Digital Interview or Job Simulation, you’ll be provided with what you need to practise and prepare your responses, as well as access to our Candidate Zone for more useful tips.

  4. Assessment Day

    Our Assessment Day activity may be hosted in person or conducted virtually, depending on your location. You will engage in various activities such as information sessions, group case studies, 1:1 interviews, and possibly individual presentations. The exact experience depends on the role and business area you’ve applied for. 

This is our standard recruitment process; some teams may include additional steps in their selection process. Throughout every stage, we aim to create a fair, supportive and engaging experience.
