In Australia, DXC has a Social Impact Practice whose vision is to improve societal outcomes, and increase diversity and inclusion through technology and innovation.The Practice focuses on developing and implementing initiatives that make a sustainable impact to our people, customers, partners and the wider community. 

Social Impact Practice Programs:

  • DXC Dandelion Program: provides an environment that supports and celebrates the talents and skills of neurodiverse people — such as those with Autism, ADHD or Dyslexia — and helps them build valuable skills to pursue a career in information technology. The primary aim of the program is to create the right environment, with the right support structure, to ensure that neurodiverse individuals are able to build valuable information technology, life, and executive functioning skills, and to learn and grow as employees and in society.
  • DXC First Nations Program: provides support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and their communities in achieving self-determination and proportional representation in all areas of our society. Launched in a ceremony with the Hon. Ken Wyatt AM, Federal Minister for Indigenous Australians in Canberra, the Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan sets out DXC’s commitment to supporting First Nations peoples, communities and businesses in Australia.
  • DXC Veterans Program: brings together a working group of DXC employees, including veterans, to collaborate with customers, partners and community organisations to form our vision for increased recognition, engagement, support and opportunities for veterans.

Buddy Program 

Each graduate will be paired up with a Buddy from their business unit, who will help them to navigate their transition into DXC. 

APAC Digital Mentorship Program

This platform will provide access to an online learning community of Mentors and Mentees, with the aim to drive the learning culture in DXC, to support our people in line with our people-first strategy.

Graduation

We host a graduation ceremony every year to celebrate our grads’ milestones and achievements.
