Lifestart supports children and young people living with a disability, as well as their families and communities, to reach their full potential. We do this by creating tailored support programs that recognise the uniqueness and strengths of each child. This support is delivered by our passionate Allied Health Professionals, including Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Behaviour Support Practitioners and more.
Lifestart was established in 1996 by a group of families who wanted more involvement in their children’s support. Our first program was run in a single classroom at Turramurra Public School. Today, Lifestart works out of nine offices across New South Wales, supporting over 10,000 children and young people every year, both face-to-face across the state and through online support programs accessed across the country.
We believe every child has the right to be fully included in their communities, and with the right supports in place, can do so and lead the lives they deserve.
